FEE
Due to concerns about clients' privacy and limitations on care imposed by managed care systems, Innovative Counseling Group does not bill insurance; rather, you can submit the receipt for reimbursement to your provider. Upon request we are happy to provide our clients with a “superbill” of services rendered, which can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement consideration as services received from an out-of-network provider. They may or may not provide reimbursement depending on the policy terms.
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS and CASH as forms of payment. . Regarding clinical services, payment is due at the time services are rendered.
Individual Counseling sessions start at $110 an hour. For individuals or couples experiencing financial hardship, there is a limited number of reduced fee time slots available. Please call if you would like to discuss this option.

How much does it cost?
Individual Counseling sessions start at $110 an hour, and $45 for additional 1/2 hour.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Form of payment can be VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS and CASH. If you prefer, you can keep a debit or credit card on file to charge for sessions, which allows you to devote the full session time to therapy.
Do you offer reduced fees or sliding scale?
For individuals or couples experiencing financial hardship, there is a limited number of reduced fee time slots available. Please call if you would like to discuss this option.
How long is each session?
Individual Sessions are designed to be flexible to meet your scheduling and treatment needs. During our first couple of sessions, we will discuss how long and how often we will meet. Depending on your needs, we can schedule 60, 90, or 120 minute sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you must cancel an appointment a 48 hour advanced notice is required to avoid charges for your reserved time. Fees cover your reserved appointment time with your therapist and are not contingent upon your attendance.
Do you take insurance?
No. Due to the reporting requirements, limits on treatment, and the intrusion upon client’s privacy by the managed care systems Innovative Counseling Group chooses not to accept insurance co-pays. Upon request you can be provided with a Super Bill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Do check with your insurance to determine if this is an option for you.
What days and hours do you take appointments?
Normal scheduling is Monday through Thursday, with some morning, afternoon and evening appointments.
How long will I be in therapy for?
Therapy is based on your unique therapeutic needs. Some clients need only a handful of sessions and there are other clients that based on their situation may need more sessions to meet their treatment goals. Therapy isn’t just the time you spend with your therapist, but is also the work that is done between sessions as well.
